Las Nubes 是一座位于墨西哥中部森林地区巴耶德布拉沃（Valle de Bravo）的独栋住宅，由 Chain + Siman 为一对寻求沉浸于自然中的当代隐居居所的夫妇设计。项目以其对陡峭场地的敏感回应，以及与周边植被之间的对话关系而尤为突出，将北欧设计影响与在地材料相结合。建筑外部以覆有黑色陶土瓦的坡屋顶为主要特征，与温暖的木质室内形成鲜明对比，营造出平衡而富有氛围感的空间体验。住宅被布置于场地的最高点，在俯瞰高尔夫球场的同时，最大程度地保留了自然地形并拓展景观视野。这一策略使建筑更接近树梢，也进一步呼应了项目名称“Las Nubes（云端）”。建筑通过一条顺应坡地的车行路径进入，并抵达带顶棚的车库；从这里，一个紧凑的垂直交通核心高效连接主要生活空间，即便面对复杂地形，也尽量减少了高差变化。朝向街道的南立面则通过黑砖、木格栅与景观绿化形成克制而低调的界面，同时提供隐私与遮阳效果。

Las Nubes is a single-family residence located in Valle de Bravo, a forested area in central Mexico, designed by Chain + Siman for a couple seeking a contemporary retreat immersed in nature. The project stands out for its sensitive integration with a steeply sloping site and its dialogue with the surrounding vegetation, combining Nordic influences with local materials. Its exterior, defined by black clay-tiled pitched roofs, contrasts with warm wooden interiors, creating a balanced and atmospheric spatial experience. Positioned at the highest point of the plot, the house overlooks a golf course while maximizing views and preserving the natural terrain. This decision brings the architecture closer to the treetops, reinforcing the project’s name, Las Nubes. Access is resolved through a sloping vehicular path leading to a covered garage, from which a compact vertical circulation core connects efficiently to the main living areas, minimizing level changes despite the challenging topography. Toward the street, the south façade maintains a discreet presence through black brick, timber screens, and landscaping that provides privacy and solar protection.

住宅由两个狭长的双坡屋顶体量构成，呼应了当地乡村建筑原型，并适应区域多雨的气候条件。北侧体量容纳主要公共功能，包括带顶露台、厨房、餐厅，以及朝向森林展开的大尺度室外平台与泳池。低半层的位置上，南侧体量则布置了家庭起居室，内部设有悬挂式壁炉与碎石庭院，形成一个更具内向气质的空间，在倾斜屋顶的包裹下向自然景观敞开。室内空间中，墙面、天花与地面均采用连续的木质表面，营造出温暖而包裹感强烈的氛围。主要起居空间以通高体量为特征，并通过整面落地玻璃框取外部景观，同时强化了空间的垂直感。厨房由烧面黑色花岗岩与木材打造，并与花园及露台下方的户外厨房相连，使日常活动自然延伸至景观之中。

The house is organized into two elongated gabled volumes, referencing the local rural typology adapted to the region’s heavy rainfall. The northern volume contains the main social areas, including a covered terrace, kitchen, dining room, and an expansive outdoor deck with a pool oriented toward the forest. Half a level below, the southern volume accommodates a family room with a suspended fireplace and a gravel patio, creating a more introspective space framed by the sloped roof and open to the landscape. Inside, continuous wooden surfaces across walls, ceilings, and floors generate a warm and enveloping atmosphere. The main living space, defined by a double-height volume with full-height glazing, frames views outward while emphasizing verticality. The kitchen, built in flamed black granite and wood, connects to the garden and an outdoor kitchen beneath the terrace, extending daily activities into the landscape.

空间组织方式允许居者拥有多种不同的生活体验——既可以在露台上进行社交聚会，也能够在更私密安静的角落中独处。主卧利用挑空高度设置了夹层家庭办公室，而所有卧室均与周边植被保持视觉联系。景观设计在项目中占据核心地位。设计保留了原有树木，并使超过70%的场地维持为绿色区域。耐阴的本土植物被布置于露台与步道之间，进一步强化了建筑与自然环境之间的融合关系。

The spatial organization allows for multiple modes of inhabitation, from social gatherings on the terraces to quieter moments in more secluded areas. The main bedroom incorporates a mezzanine as a home office, taking advantage of the double height, while all bedrooms maintain visual connections with the surrounding vegetation. Landscape design plays a central role, preserving existing trees and allowing over 70% of the site to remain green. Native and shade-tolerant species are arranged across terraces and pathways, reinforcing the project’s integration with its environment.

在技术层面，住宅结合了交叉通风、水暖系统以及被动式气候策略。所有家具均由 Chain + Siman 专门定制设计，从而确保整体材料语言与空间语言的一致性。

Technically, the house incorporates cross ventilation, hydronic heating, and passive climate strategies. All furniture was custom-designed by Chain + Siman, ensuring a cohesive material and spatial language throughout.
