项目坐落于浙江省江山市核心地带，是集邻里中心、商业、酒店与城市广场于一体的滨水公共核心。场地东侧紧邻古城墙遗址，须江与鹿溪渠夹岸而过，百年梧桐与老街肌理犹在。场地虽承载着厚重的历史积淀，却因道路和古渠的切割，成为城市肌理中一块结构性空缺。古渠、古堰、古树、老街、城墙遗址是场地内叠压共存的历史层积，却因缺乏公共生活的载体而逐渐失联于当代城市。

Located in the core area of Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province, the project is a waterfront public hub integrating a neighbourhood centre, commercial spaces, a hotel and an urban plaza. The site is bordered by ancient city wall ruins to the east, with the Xujiang River and Luxi Canal running alongside it. Centuries old Chinese parasol trees and the texture of old streets remain intact. Though steeped in profound historical heritage, the site has become a structural void in the urban fabric, segmented by roads and ancient canals. Historical layers including ancient canals, weirs, old trees, old streets and city wall ruins coexist here, yet they have gradually been disconnected from modern urban life due to a lack of public activity spaces.

织补城市：在复杂限制中克制介入
Darning the City: Restrained Intervention Amid Complex Constraints

面对复杂的场地约束，项目依托五要素为线索，从多个维度织补（darning）场地和城市间的关系。
路改隧: 项目采用路改隧策略，将江滨路城市阳台区域修改为下穿隧道，把地面完整还给城市。街区、广场和江岸形成了连续的公共生活序列。沿江绿带也获得了结构性补全。

Faced with intricate site restrictions, the project takes five key site elements as clues to darn the relationship between the site and the city from multiple dimensions.
Road-to-Tunnel Conversion: Adopting a road to tunnel strategy, the project converts the Binjiang Road section at the urban terrace into an underpass tunnel, returning the ground level entirely to public use. This creates a continuous sequence of public spaces linking blocks, plazas and the riverbank, while structurally completing the riverside green belt.

街区式布局： 项目摒弃封闭式开发的内向逻辑，以街区式布局回应周边城市肌理，让建筑群落自然融入老城空间秩序。功能布局整合于空间逻辑：商业沿老街、滨水广场以及鹿溪渠展开；地下层临鹿溪渠一侧开放，是全项目最松弛的停留场景；酒店以环状布局托举于街区之上；屋顶环廊完全开放，垂直大交通将人自然引导至屋顶观景平台。

Block-Style Layout: Rejecting the introverted logic of enclosed development, the project adopts a block-style layout to align with the surrounding urban fabric, allowing the building complex to blend naturally into the spatial order of the old town. Functional layout is integrated with spatial logic: commercial areas stretch along old streets, waterfront plazas and the Luxi Canal; the underground level facing the canal features the most relaxed leisure zones of the whole project; the hotel rises above the blocks in a circular arrangement; and an open rooftop corridor connects to vertical circulation routes, guiding visitors to the rooftop viewing platform.

一街两带三通廊：‘一街’即古径商业街；‘两带’依托鹿溪渠与滨水岸线，打造极具活力的休闲景观带；‘三廊’则作为缝合城市与滨水空间的纽带，分别是从未来社区延伸过来的社区生活走廊，从北侧社区邻里中心延伸过来的社区服务通廊，以及延伸通禄门街轴线至江边的古城文化长廊。沿文化长廊拾级而上可到达中央门楼，是整个通禄门城市阳台的重要标识和观景平台的最高点。

One Street, Two Belts, Three Corridors: The “one street” refers to the ancient commercial thoroughfare. The “two belts” are vibrant recreational landscape zones along the Luxi Canal and riverfront. The “three corridors” act as links stitching the city and waterfront spaces: a community living corridor extending from future residential neighbourhoods, a community service corridor from the northern neighbourhood centre, and an ancient city cultural corridor stretching the axis of Tonglumen Street down to the river. Steps along the cultural corridor lead up to the central gatehouse, a key landmark and the highest viewing point of the Tonglumen Urban Terrace.

场地五要素：文脉的多维活化
Five Site Elements: Multi-Dimensional Revitalisation of Cultural Context

设计以五要素为在地阅读的线索，分层次转化为具体的空间回应和形式发展。老街、古树、古渠直接作为空间织补的操作载体，而古城墙遗址则构成主体形象与立面语言的引导线索。古堰构成场地水文脉络阅读的重要层次。

Taking the five elements as clues for on-site interpretation, the design translates them hierarchically into spatial responses and formal development. Old streets, ancient trees and the canal directly serve as carriers for spatial darning, while the city wall ruins guide the main architectural form and facade language. Ancient weirs form a vital layer for understanding the site’s hydrological context.

保留老街肌理：设计选择保留老江滨路的肌理与走向，将其视为场地空间秩序的基准线。两侧以商业功能为主，让这条街重新获得被激活的理由，成为项目最具市井温度的公共界面。

Preserving Old Street Texture: The design retains the texture and alignment of the old Binjiang Road as the baseline for the site’s spatial order. Flanked by commercial functions, the street regains vitality and becomes the most lively public interface of the project.

保留古树：场地内的百年梧桐构成了强大的自然场域，是任何新建环境无法复制的空间品质。设计通过精确测绘每一株老树的点位、冠幅、开冠高度等信息，以此作为建筑布局的约束条件。地面建筑原则上避让树木冠幅投影范围，地下室边界避让并至少保留4米根系半径。市民在老树下休憩和漫游，建筑退到背景里。时间赋予街区真正的温度。

Conserving Ancient Trees: Centuries-old Chinese parasol trees on site form a powerful natural landscape, an irreplaceable spatial quality unachievable by new construction. Through precise surveys of each tree’s location, canopy range and crown height, these trees are set as constraints for architectural layout. Above ground buildings avoid the projection of tree canopies, while basement boundaries keep a minimum 4-metre radius around tree root zones. Citizens can relax and wander beneath ancient trees, with buildings receding into the background, letting time infuse the block with genuine warmth.

鹿溪渠活化： 鹿溪渠始建于南宋，是贴临古城墙的护城河和重要水利设施。历经八百余年至今仍在使用。然而现状是城市生活的隔离带。设计在完整保留一侧古老渠墙的前提下，将鹿溪渠激活为亲水商业界面。一面是当代烟火生活，一面是上百年历史层叠。渠从城市边界转变为人们愿意停留的场所。

Revitalizing the Luxi Canal: First built in the Southern Song Dynasty, the Luxi Canal once served as a moat adjacent to the ancient city wall and a critical water conservancy facility. Still in use after over 800 years, it had become a divider of urban life. While fully preserving one side of its ancient canal wall, the design revitalizes the canal as a water-front commercial interface, blending contemporary daily life with centuries old historical layers. The canal evolves from an urban boundary into a desirable leisure destination.

微缩江山：古城意象的抽象与转化
Miniature Jiangshan: Abstraction and Transformation of Ancient City Imagery

场地紧邻古城墙和城门楼遗址。设计提取古城墙最本质的形式逻辑，水平延伸的厚重体量与标识性。设计结合二层连续的酒店体量，托举起一个环状、向公众24小时开放的屋顶平台——在城市滨水绿带中提供了一处纵览山水地脉的全景高地。环状形态是以“1:10江山老城”为母题，打造当代的 “微缩古城”。是形式层面对场地文脉的直接回应。

Adjacent to ancient city wall and gatehouse ruins, the design extracts the essential formal logic of the city walls: massive horizontally extended volumes and symbolic identity. Combined with the continuous two storey hotel massing, a 24 hour public circular rooftop platform is elevated, offering a panoramic high point overlooking mountains, rivers and urban context within the riverside green belt. Modelled after a “1:10 scaled down old Jiangshan City”, the circular form creates a modern “miniature ancient city”, a direct formal response to the site’s cultural heritage.

这一形态与首层街区有机叠合，生成了一条如莫比乌斯环般的立体动线，将各项功能与多层级公共空间串联为一体。通过垂直维度的编排，让复杂的场地限制转化为独特的场所潜能。

Organically integrated with ground floor blocks, this form generates a Möbius-strip-like three-dimensional circulation route that connects diverse functions and multi-level public spaces. Through vertical spatial arrangement, complex site constraints are turned into unique place-making potential.

在立面语言上，设计选择灰色石材为主要材质，以现代建构语言呼应古城墙的历史意象，而非风格仿古。面向须江的酒店景观面采用石材格栅手法，既保证景观视野渗透，又延续城墙意象与整体建筑语言的统一性。设计旨在打造具有“透明”属性的整体形象。石材格栅以100mm、200mm和300mm三种高度的组合条进行拼合，组成五个不同的立面基础单元，在整个临江立面上进行自由拼合形成丰富节奏，同时有效控制了材料加工与实施的复杂度。

For facade expression, grey stone is chosen as the primary material, using modern construction techniques to echo the historical imagery of ancient city walls rather than imitating traditional styles. Stone grilles are adopted on the hotel’s river facing facade, ensuring landscape permeability while maintaining consistency with wall imagery and overall architectural language. The design aims to create a transparent-feeling overall image. Composed of three stone strip heights (100 mm, 200 mm and 300 mm), five basic facade units are freely combined across the river-front elevation to form rich rhythms while simplifying material fabrication and construction complexity.

结语：文脉即资源，遗存即机遇
Conclusion: Cultural Context as Resource, Heritage as Opportunity

项目以在地阅读为起点，以文脉织补为方法，以形式转化为表达——将沉睡的历史要素多维活化。以用促保，让文脉和遗存融入当代的日常生活。这座“立体微城”不仅缝合了老城肌理中断裂的公共界面，更成为了江山人愿意停留、愿意分享的新客厅。

Starting from on-site interpretation, adopting cultural context darning as the method and formal transformation as the expression, the project revitalises dormant historical elements from multiple dimensions. It promotes heritage protection through active utilisation, integrating cultural context and relics into modern daily life. This “three-dimensional mini-city” not only stitches fragmented public interfaces in the old town fabric but also becomes a new urban living room where residents of Jiangshan gather and share moments together.
